Chris Wheat, 60, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022. 

Chris was a graduate of Moore High School and Sullivan university. He was an avid U of L fan. His most prized memories was growing up playing baseball, going to the track, and spending time with his family.

You would often find him behind a grill cooking big meals for his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time watching games, going on vacation, and eating around the table.

He will always be remembered by “eat with your mouth closed”, “what it is, is what it is” and “when you run out of money, go make more”

He was born on November 13, 1961 in Louisville to the late Robert Wheat and Beulah Mae "Billie" Spurrier.  

Chris is survived by his sons, Adam Wheat, Alex Wheat, and Aaron Wheat; 6 grandchildren; brothers, Paul Wheat (Cheryl) and Dennis Wheat (Susan); and mother of his children, Vicki Wheat.
